The Lord is telling us not to worry about anything. He knows our needs before we do, and He has already made provision for us. That is a hard thing to believe when the bills are due or the news is heavy — but it is true, and I have watched it be true my whole life.
Fear is a thief
The enemy wants to steal your peace and cause you to fear. When we give in to fear, we hand over the peace, the confidence, and the courage that were meant to keep us steady, and we give the opposition room it was never supposed to have. Worry doesn't add a single thing to your life; it only borrows tomorrow's trouble and charges you interest today.
So look at the birds. They don't store up or fret, and still they are fed. You are worth more than the birds. Whatever you are carrying today, you can set it down in front of a Father who was already tending to it before you woke up. Trust Him with your season. In all my years, He has never once been late.
